Pt Willunga
The brief for this project was to design a backyard with a relaxed holiday atmosphere, be a productive garden growing vegetables & fruit as well as providing more opportunities for alfresco entertaining. Another important part of the brief was to maintain the character of the place and use as many recycled materials from site as possible.
Significant elements of the design include the Outdoor Fireplace with local limestone gabion wall with sleeper mantle, the recycled red brick paving in the fireplace area and alfresco area, the hardwood timber fencing made from the purlings of the old shed, the outdoor sink & preparation area, the raised vegetable gardens from recycled railway sleepers and the custom canter livered BBQ Shelter. ODD also laid a new concrete slab and installed the new shed.
